AUDIT ASSESSMENT OF ALL NPA PORTS LEADING TO THE ISPS CODE CERTIFICATION OF THE FACILITIES.

Brief description of project: In 2013, Hudson Trident Limited was appointed by the Nigerian Ports Authority to conduct an assessment audit of all its port facilities located in Apapa, Tincan, Warri Port Harcourt and Calabar for the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code certification of the facilities. The aim of the project was to ensure the compliance of the facilities with the requirements of the ISPS Code as required by the IMO.

Scope of work: The Scope of the engagement included the conduct of assessment audits of all NPA port facilities and development of a Port Facility Security Assessment Report and Plan for each facility which were then approved by the Presidential Implementation Committee on Maritime Safety and Security (PICOMSS).
